Cookies and browser storage
This information covers cookies and similar technologies, including localStorage and sessionStorage.
Updated 25 October 2026
What this version uses
The site currently includes no advertising pixels or marketing analytics tools. It uses browser storage for authenticated sessions and your chosen language. Visiting the home page does not itself start an account session.
Language preference
The xptosi-lang preference is saved in localStorage when you select a language. It remains until changed or cleared in your browser. Initial browser-language detection does not need to save a preference.
Account session
The Supabase authentication client uses a local sb-…-auth-token key to maintain and refresh the session. Sessions depend on token validity and can end when you sign out, revoke access or clear browser data. This storage supports the authenticated dashboard.
Optional script on customer websites
If a customer installs the XPTOSI reporting script on their website, it uses sessionStorage with an xptosi:* key to avoid duplicate reports during the session. It sends the page URL and a change signature. That integration should be described in the installing website’s privacy information.
How to manage storage
You can change language with the selector, sign out, and clear or block storage in browser settings. Blocking authentication storage may prevent normal account operation. External services you visit to authorise a connection manage their own settings.
Optional features
If optional advertising or analytics technologies requiring consent are introduced, they must be presented and authorised before activation. Creating XPTOSI social media profiles does not automatically install pixels on this website.
